Amazon.com Review
The best ideas are often the simplest, which explains why Jorgenson is well known among woodworkers as the maker of some of the best clamps available, and their 3/4-inch steel bar clamp is no exception. No shop can have too many of these. They offer a basic, reliable design--featuring a crank handle, no holes, no rivets, and no notches--that leaves little room for improvement. These clamps are great for a huge variety of jobs, can be used on any length of pipe your task requires, and can be relied on to keep their grip without loosening up or slipping. Removing the clamps when the job is done is quick and easy every time. Sure, some may say that a clamp is a clamp, and to some extent that's true. But with so many brands on the market, there's a reason it's so hard to find a shop that's not full of Jorgenson clamps. If you're looking for reliable clamps at a price that allows you to buy as many as you need, Jorgensen clamps are tough to beat. --Brian Trinen

Summary: Excellent Clamp Kit 2008-03-24
Comment: These work great... just buy the length of 3/4 inch pipe you need and you have a great clamp. They are easy to switch from one pipe to the next so you can have various clamp lengths by having a different pipe lengths available.

Summary: None better 2008-03-11
Comment: This clamp is the ONLY clamp to have. First, only buy pipe clamps. Second, only buy Jorgensen--they have smooth action and easy re-setting, and they are cost-effective. Third, only buy this model, with the crank handle, because you can get the highest torque for the least strain on your hands/fingers. With pipe clamps, all you need is the appropriate length of threaded pipe--which is CHEAP. Go to the hardware store, buy a 12" length of their threaded pipe--you've got a great clamp. Buy a 36" length of their threaded pipe--you've got another great clamp. Know what I'm sayin'? You can have loads and loads of variable length clamps for CHEAP!!!

Summary: well made 2008-02-08
Comment: These clamps might be considered the industry standard, so it's no surprise they are well made. There are good clamps available with features these don't have, such as taller, broader bases or built in hanging hooks, but these do everything I ask of pipe clamps and the quality of the castings and machining is excellent. When I bought them at about twelve dollars apiece the price was a couple of dollars or more less than any I could find for comparable clamps.

Summary: great price 2007-12-15
Comment: I have owned these clamps for years and they are awesome. The 4 for the price of 3 deal was too good to pass up.
