Summary: Couldn't Believe It--Outstanding Product 2009-01-03
Comment: We have a weekend cabin--unfinished--in Brehnam, Texas. Because the cabin is pier and beam, and lacks insulation, climate control is an issue in both the summer and winter. We went through probably a dozen heaters before trying this one. I was at the end of my rope, and the ONLY reason I gave this heater a shot is because of some of the reviews. The thing looks like a knick knack, and I couldn't imagine it working where some much more industrial-looking units had failed. Boy was I WRONG. It worked so well last winter that we bought another one this year--then we had to turn one off because it got too HOT (temp outside was in the 20s).
One thing to remember with any heater is that it must be size-appropriate for the room you are using it in. We use ours in the loft of our cabin, which is roughly 14'x16', with a barn roof that reaches about 7' in the middle.
We've found the thermostat to be hugely helpful in keeping us from overheating--set it at about 65 or 70 and we're good to go, even in freezing weather.

Summary: good heater, poor service 2008-12-01
Comment: Heater is excellent, at a good price; was received quickly. However, as the package was lacking warranty information AND even some basic instructions on its use, I contacted the vendor at the e-mail shown on their invoice, asking them to contact me about these issues. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY REPLY, OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF MY COMPLAINT.
However, the product was quite satisfactory. SInce I had originally planned to order TWO (the first vendor showed only 1 in stock), I subsequently ordered a second identical heater from a different Amazon vendor--- AND this one came with the instructions.

Summary: WONDERFUL QUIET HEATER 2008-11-28
Comment: This heater is not only stylish but quiet. We use it in our Family Room which has a vaulted ceiling. I start it a couple hours before we are going to use the room and it keeps it comfortable while we watch TV. I can keep the thermostat to 65-F in rest of the house and the Family Room registers 73-74. We no longer have to cover up to stay warm. Now with heating fuel predicted to go up 30% I am happy that I can keep 90% of the house cooler and only heat the room we spend the majority of our time. It allows us to conserve energy and still be comfortable. This is the second year we will be using the heater. Other heater fans were so noisy you couldn't hear the TV...this heater is so quiet sometimes you wonder if it is on...great buy! WISCONSIN CUSTOMER

Summary: excellent safe heater 2008-11-26
Comment: We purchased this heater last winter to save on home heating costs. It has performed admirably. I was so pleased with it that I bought another one for my son's dormitory room in his school. It's easy to operate and the thermostat setting ensures that you don't overheat the room. Just remember to follow the instructions and be sure to unplug from the wall before leaving your home as the manufaturer says.

Summary: Great for small rooms 2008-11-23
Comment: Love this heater, works great for my home office space which is a 10x11 room; lightweight and decorative, works in any room of the house appearance wise. Often I will move it to larger rooms, doesn't heat up an entire large room but has sufficient heat output to take the chill off even in the bigger rooms...for the money it was a great investment.
