Summary: Keeping your feet safe and secure 2007-09-22
Comment: Lawn mowers are dangerous. Although I have safely mowed for about forty years, I began a search for steel-toed low shoes to wear while mowing and doing other yard work. (I have steel-toed boots, but they are too hot in the summer, so I end up wearing sneakers, which offer no protection.) These Lawngrips are designed to keep your feet safe with their steel toes. They also have an amazing tread which gives you a good grip on wet grass, but the tread is designed to release mud and turf, so you don't track it into the house or car. They are very comfortable too. I recommend them for anyone who works on landscaping, especially with power equipment.
