Comment: Piece of crap (no pun intended). As soon as I installed it the seat portion came apart from the frame; I had to reposition the hinge and re-attach it. If I had bought it at a store it would go right back but it's not worth the hassle to return it to Amazon.

Summary: Better than some I've bought from Home Depot. 2007-02-08
Comment: Basically this is a good toilet seat for the price. Solid oak. I see Amazon has raised the price slightly. Well this seat is still better than the $40 one I purchased at Home Depot. This one screws securely and does not "wobble" and slide. Also it's heavy and seems like it will not split like other wood seats.
