Summary: Such a handy tool 2008-10-01
Comment: I used to dread opening up those plastic heat sealed packages. I was always fumbling around trying to cut them with scissors which required too much pressure. This handy device lets me cut through them with ease as well as clip wires, plastic ties, and has a slide out blade to open up those Cd/DVD packages. I like the fact that the slide out blade does not stay locked in the out position, because I would probably accidentally stab myself with it. It also has a handy flip out mini screwdriver with reversible phillips/flat bit.

Summary: Will make life easier 2008-09-08
Comment: I love this gadget. It works so much better getting those hard to open packages open and snipping thosed plastic ties that hold everything to the cardboard. I also find it terrific that there is a small screwdriver on it for opening all of those battery covers. I think this will make a wonderful "guy" gift, but the women will use it, too.

Comment: The knife at the end will not lock in the "out" position. It's still usable, but inconvenient to do so. I do like the tool's ability to quickly slice through the plastic security packaging.

Summary: What a great gift item... 2008-08-30
Comment: I picked this up on the recommendation of Instapundit, and it is a great find! All of those (incredibly silly) plastic clear-paks are now a very small annoyance; and I think I have found a a really good give-away item as a seasonal gift for friends and customers - inexpensive and extremely useful!

Comment: Friend had one which I used, and then orderd 5 for gifts. There are so many ways this has come in handy - not only the perfect way to open those horribly-wrapped plastic packages, but it also cuts through small branches on trees as if they were soft butter. It has also other tools in the handles. Love this opener!
