Summary: Awful - Little Action, Little Fun 2008-11-10
Comment: I bought this for my 3 year old son. It came together easily and we were ready to play within a couple minutes. However, the buttons are extremely difficult to maneuver (even for me). My son wasn't able to do it himself. Furthermore, the general quality is very low - the drive through movie screen wouldn't stand up straight on its own. Generally - very disappointed.

Summary: Cars Dragstrip - Not for light-handed kids 2008-04-21
Comment: The Dragstip looks neat and is very easy to assemble out of the box. It comes with 2 mini vehicles which are pretty well-made. You can adjust the strip length by pulling the movie screen away from the starting point or pushing it closer. And, on the outside of each strip there is a pole with what looks like a light board but can be pushed down to make a ramp for each racer and the angle adjusted to try to aim the car's jump at the movie screen. There's also a scoreboard behind the starting point that helps you manually keep track of the number of times McQueen and King go through the screen (up to 3).
It's a nice, small package but it hasn't been a huge hit with my 3 boys; it got a lot of play on the first day, but now it is of occasional interest. My 5 year-old would rather play with other toys. And, it's too hard for my 2 year-olds to set it up themselves. You need to pull back the levers on the side to set up the starting gate, and they're hard to manipulate for little fingers. Then, you need to push firmly down on the barrel or tire on the sides to launch the cars, but it's not the easiest thing to do -- for my 5-year old or even myself. You need to press it down at the right angle and with a lot of pressure to get it to go. So, even though some kids might enjoy this set more than my boys and the parts seem pretty solid (maybe a bit too solid), I probably would not buy this toy again and I don't think it's worth more than $15.
