Summary: This is the best car track we own despite some problems! 2008-02-09
Comment: We bought this toy for our 7 year old son. He was constantly taking his Hotwheel tracks apart to reassemble but they only went together one way. The Darda tracks are great because they can be used the way the directions state or made into a unique design.
The only negatives we have had in 6 months are that we were unable to fit the pieces back into the storage box so we had to get a bigger box. Also, my son has twisted one or two pieces to the point where they have broken.
Surprisingly, though, I still think this is the best car track ever and I do plan on just buying another track (maybe a slightly different design) in the future to replace what he has ruined. Even with some flaws, it is well worth the money.

Summary: Excellent for All Ages 2008-01-09
Comment: Both my 4.5 year old son and 3.5 year old nephew got this for Christmas. They both love it and have lots of fun playing with it. It's fun to pick out the track to build (with a grown up's help) and watch the cars go. When the cars don't make it around the track, the kids have fun trying to figure out the problem and adjusting the track accordingly. Although they can't build the more complicated tracks, they like to disassemble and change the more simple areas of the track, keeping the towers and loops in tack. My 2 year old daughter enjoys playing with the cars on the track as well.
The only problem I has is with the case. There is no way, once you open it up, you can get all the pieces to fit back into the bin. It keeps the left over pieces, not being used for whatever track is currently constructed, nicely put away. But, if you want to put the entire track away - pay really good attention as to how it came out of the box!

Summary: Killer racetrack! 2008-01-07
Comment: First off, I was a little nervous about the price, but let me say that it's worth it. Quality product, and being a guy who jumps right in without reading instructions, quite intuitive. I went back to the instrux after cranking out a couple of set ups, and it's easy to figure out without the instructions, but they give some good direction as to what you can do. my kids (girl 5, boy 2.5) can't get enough. It's even displaced the train table, which is saying volumes. The only thing I would like with this is full-color photos of the setups. With all the winding in and out of tracks on the loopy sections, it would be nice to have a little more clarity when doing some of the pre-set setups. But having all the parts to make multiple tracks at once is invaluable. I would also recommend having at least two cars per kid, to account for a 'temporarily missing' vehicle (i just ordered 3 more). Great product.

Summary: Hours of Fun 2008-01-07
Comment: The kit contains tons of track and course options. It was a little hard for my 9 year old to do on his own at first. Now he is a pro. The kids use their imaginations and apply basic physics as they construct race courses for their cars. Unfortunately, one small piece of a track broke where it connects and one car is already out of commission after 3 weeks of play. That being said, it is loads of fun!

Summary: Great Toy 2008-01-07
Comment: This was a Christmas gift for my 6 yr old son and he was very excited to have it. It is great! We love the fact that you can change the track as the only flaw with this system is that you can't race your car against another car so after watching your car go around a track several times it loses its draw. We quickly change it to another track to keep us entertained. My son does not play with it everyday but when he does he enjoys it.
