Product Description
This teapot over for magic pouring sounds, or presses the lid to hear a tea time tune. Set includes four cups, saucers and spoons, plus a creamer and sugar bowl with lid, and a tray for serving treats. It requires two replaceable button-cell alkaline batteries, which are included Editorial Review
Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. Everything fits onto a sturdy lavender tray with large handles and a built-in stand for the teapot. --Marcie Bovetz

Summary: for older toddlers 2008-08-20
Comment: I bought this for my granddaughter for her first birthday, knowing she was a bit young for it, but wanting to get her first tea set. She isn't ready to pour for her dollies or stuffed animals, but she enjoys the sounds from the teapot and pretending to drink from the cups. The little cups and saucers are just the right size for little hands, and the spoons are sturdy enough and the edges are soft enough for teethers (she only recently got her first bottom teeth, and we have no worries about her chewing on these.) The set is adorable and the price affordable.

Summary: Perfect Tea Set 2008-07-30
Comment: I got this tea set for my daughter as a present for giving up her bottle. She loves it. The instant she saw it she wanted to play with it. The cups and spoons are larger than most so it's easy for her little hands to manage and it's made of a durable plastic so it won't break easily. The little jingle does play often, but it's not as loud as some of her other toys. She hasn't stopped playing with it since she openened it. This is a great tea set!

Summary: Cute tea set 2008-07-29
Comment: My 2 yr old daughter loves this tea set. She enjoys stirring the tea in the cup. We do not put water in it but she loves to pretend to pour the tea.

Summary: My toddler likes it, but I find it a bit dissappointing 2008-07-24
Comment: I bought this for my 18 month old daughter because her au pair said that she needed a tea set. She loves it. She plays tea party with her au pair every day. She likes to push the button on the top of tea pot to play music. And it plays I'm a little teapot when you tip it over.
But the music is high pitched and annoying. It is a bit loud and there is no off-switch or volume control. The end of the Little Tea Pot song doesn't sound correct. It sounds like the Jeopardy game show theme song. I'll be happy when the battery runs out.
The other disappointing thing about it is that there are tiny holes around the sides of the cups. You can't actually put any liquid in these these cups, despite what other reviewers have said. But I guess that's also a good way to prevent messes. When she's older, I'll probably get her a nicer tea set. But for a toddler, this is a pretty good set.
