Summary: Good overall 2008-10-28
Comment: My kids (age 5, 3, 2) all love this although it keeps the attention of my youngest for the longest. The two cars it comes with are little, plastic, and lightweight. They fly down the track. Of our 20 or so metal diecast cars, we have ONE that is small and light enough to be equally as fast (I think it has a plastic body). Some of the others fit down the track but are slow because of their weight; still others are too long to make it down the tight spiral and get stuck. In theory it shouldn't matter if the track works with any other cars - except that we all know the two it comes with will someday be lost! It would just take a little hunting at Walmart or Target to find a small, lightweight replacement.

Summary: Still Loving It 2008-10-27
Comment: My son got this toy for Christmas 2007, and now, coming up on another Christmas, he still loves it. It DOES work with other "matchbox" style cars, just not all of them. They have to be narrow. The voices can be annoying, especially if you bump into it in the middle of the night, it sounds very loud, lol, but it's fun for my son. He was 20 months old when we got it, and he's more than 2 and a half now and still loving this toy. Well worth the price at $23.99. And it's the only toy from last year that he still plays with consistently.

Summary: Simple, but fun 2008-10-22
Comment: This toy does one thing and one thing only....luckily most boys find that one thing pretty cool! Just know that the ramp does not accommodate the die-cast cars--only these tiny plastic ones that come with it. My other realization was that there is no on/off switch to the sound effects which are triggered very easily, so I hope you like the phrases "Speed, I am speed!" and "You're one gutsy racer!" That being said, my 3 year old son has played with it quite a bit, and probably likes it more than me! I think there are better toys out there though.

Summary: Racing Ramp works with many different sized cars 2008-09-18
Comment: The children loved this racing ramp. It's great that it works with all the matchbox cars that you may have laying around. You can race different ones to see which ones are fastest. But it didn't hold their attention as long as other toys.

Summary: I like it...except... 2008-09-14
Comment: My 2 year old son really likes playing with this. I was a bit dissapointed because the description says it is compatable with other diecast cars. My son has a ton of them so I thought it would be cool, however, 95% of them are too big. It works great with the two small (plastic) cars it comes with, but even the smaller hotwheel cars don't work too well on it.
Overall I like it since my son has fun with it, but I'll have to try and find some small cars to fit it in case he loses one of the two it comes with.
