Summary: Adorable baby Chimp! 2008-10-21
Comment: I am an observer with ChimpanZoo a Jane Goodall program studying Chimp behavior, I bought 5 of these as gifts for my friends who enjoy my pictures and stories--I bought one for myself last year and one of the larger ones too! I had bought the larger FurReal Chimp as Christmas gifts for my friends last year, so this baby is a companion to last years gift. It is very realistic, has nice anamatronics and makes sweet Chimp sounds. A kid of any age would love this little guy, my adult "kid" friends loved it too!

Summary: Entertaining For a While 2008-09-17
Comment: I bought this chimp for a friend's daughter. It's very small, so don't expect a big toy. While in the box, you can press it's stomach and hear the noises it makes. The instructions on the back said that once the toy is out of the box, you can turn the switch to "on" for a wider range of actions. However, the switch was already on when we took it out, so the few noises it made while attached to the box was the extent of the fun.
The chimp makes laughing or crackling noises when you press on the stomach. The bonus was that after a few days, my friend's daughter figured out that the chimp's mouth actually opened somehow and you could use the baby bottle to "feed it". A week later, she's still sleeping with the toy, so I guess it's $11 well spent.
