Summary: Nice set, great value, Painted faces off in color 2008-09-26
Comment: I ordered this set for my kids, great deal for 8 figures, w/ free shipping under 19.99. These are cute bendable wooden figures, costumes are as seen on the site, but the paint was way off on mine at least, They are very orange faces, like orange construction paper orange not the natural wood color which I would prefer. I got such a great deal and the castle display case is in made of wood and is an extremely nice case. I may figure out a way to just repaint the faces, the ones I have just have unattractive garish faces. Just kinda different than what I saw online at the Melissa and Doug site and Amazon. I can always add more yarn for hair.

Summary: not worth the money you save 2008-03-22
Comment: I bought these for my son and they are falling apart after only being played with for a short while. We have other bendable people from Plan Toys and though they are more expensive the quality is superior to the Melisa and Doug products.

Summary: fun for the kids 2008-01-02
Comment: Similar to the Plan Toys figures...these dolls work well with the folding castle set. The Plan toy dolls seem a little more put together, but my six year old didn't seem to notice any difference. She loves princesses, so these have replaced the doll house along with all the other things that go in it.

Summary: Excellent - exactly as promised 2008-01-02
Comment: We got this toy for our 2 1/2 year old daughter who loves castles and now has a Cinderella fixation. She loves it and plays with it for extended periods. The figures are well made and durable and the castle and play set arrived promptly. Great value!

Summary: Great to add to castle 2007-12-30
Comment: We have the Melissa & Doug castle but it doesn't come "furnished." We bought these dolls and some Disney princess figurines. While the Disney princesses made the biggest hit due to familiarity, these are also popular with my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I like to that they provoke a little more discussion than the Disney figurines - as to what roles each plays in the castle.
