Summary: Wonderful Toy! 2008-10-12
Comment: Santa gave my kids this last year and as of today, they are STILL playing with it on a consistant basis. Only toy from Xmas they are still enjoying.
We build a sandbox from a concrete mixing tray supported by a PVC pipe frame (the included sandbox is useless) and it's great. I have an indoor sandbox that the kids and their friends absolutely love. Some sand does get spilled and since it's on carpet it gets vaccumed up, so I will be buying more sand soon to replenish.
Best $10 toy I ever bought.

Summary: This is the best stuff 2008-09-15
Comment: A bit messy but so are many fun things.
I have as much fun playing with this as the kids do.
I really reccomend the big bucket as you have enough sand to make bigger castles.

Summary: What A MESS!!!! 2008-07-11
Comment: I put my children (3 and 5) outside on a plastic tablecloth with Moonsand. They both needed a shower after they played with it. I had to carry them both to the shower because I couldn't brush it off of their hands and legs. I wrapped up the tablecloth with the Moonsand inside and threw the entire thing away. Ugh. Stick with dough.

Summary: Pretty neat stuff 2008-06-15
Comment: We are happy with our moonsand. However, we waited quite a while for it's actual arrival...a suprisingly long wait time. But, the kids seem to like it and it is less messy than regular sand. There are three colors that come with it, which was not noted. Red, blue, and sand colored...these have all mixed into purple. The children don't seem to mind, but I would have rather just had sand colored. Overall, a good product, we will need some more for our sand table soon as a 7 lb tub isn't near as much as I thought it would be.

Summary: Messy, messy, messy! 2008-06-02
Comment: I was thinking about buying a Moon Sand kit for my son for his birthday so when he received the Farm Kit as a gift I was happy - up until we started to play with it. Thankfully, I had him go outside to use it and put a sheet on the table. Moon Sand is so fine that it is nearly impossible to pick up any that goes astray. Moon Sand is great for using in the accompanying molds but it is nearly impossible to build something at random so if your kids are more creative, something like PlayDough is better for you. We won't be buying any more Moon Sand.
