Collapses down for easy storage.

Free your child's inner groundhog. This pop-up tunnel is meant to be an accessory to Pacific Play Tents, but most kids will want to move into it--permanently--or pull the 6-foot-long, reinforced tube up around themselves and walk or crawl around, pretending to be caterpillars. The spring-open construction is sturdy and assembly free, and the "See-Me" windows really are fun for kids to peek through. As a tent accessory, the tunnel is easy to fit into the tent's perfectly cut hole and will stay put during the most vigorous play. --Claire Dederer

Summary: Dress, tent, tunnel, caterpillar costume and more! 2008-03-04
Comment: We got this for the kids (3.5 and 8 months) for Christmas, but I don't know who enjoyed it more: Uncle Phillip, the cat, or the kids. It was rolled in, jumped on, worn, clawed, and chewed on. It's durable and easy to collapse. It's fun to pop it out when the kids are bored and then put it right away before bed.
I could really use about 3 of these, velcroed together end to end in a big circle with the kids trapped inside. It might give me a minute of rest!

Summary: Spoiled child's best toy 2007-12-03
Comment: I bought this toy when my son was just over 6 months old and crawling. The tubular construction is padded so it is easy on the knees. Another thing that made it a great choice is the peek windows that allow the child to see you or crawl towards where they hear your voice. My son is now almost 5 and it is still one of his favorite toys. He and his friends pull it out and have a blast. The best thing is that it is so well made that it is still in great shape. My son was a late in life child so we are able to buy just about anything we want for him, and we do. (Although we do rotate and give to charity quite often to keep him from having too much) So when I say this is in the top 5 of all the toys ever....it is saying something. So much so that I am ordering another one for our 7 month old nephew for Christmas.

Comment: My kids love this! Good toy for playing in the house or out, great price and the best part is that it folds up nicely to be stored out of the way. I give it only four stars because the piping that gives it its form can be a bit of a stinger on the knees.

Summary: Great for all kids! 2006-08-04
Comment: I ordered this item for my daughter's 1st birthday. Having my older daughter play with one of these at 18months at other kids homes, I knew that we needed one of these at our house! It's great, especially with the windows for the girls to see out and make sure mom or dad is still there. If my house was big enough I'd order another one to connect to it as well. It's really great for any age child, as long as they're crawling.

Summary: Developmentally unlimited... 2006-03-25
Comment: We bought this tunnel over a year ago for our then-crawling almost-one-year-old. I figured it would encourage her to crawl more, which it did--she loved it!
Now she's a running, screaming, jumping, independent 2 yo who still drags this tunnel out of the back corner of the play area (where I've tried to hide it) and squeals excitedly when we pop it out for her to play in.
Her older sister, who is now 3 1/2, also loves the tunnel. She copies her aunt's ideas and stands upright in the tunnel to pretend she's a monster, or hops with it around her and pretends to be a caterpillar or a frog.
We don't yet have any of the tent accessories, but we build our own tents with sofa cushions and sheets, then stick one end of the tunnel in a gap, and you have a secret entrance to a special hideaway.
This is one of those classic toys that children of all ages can find lots of uses for--it sparks creativity and imagination, and gives Mom a few minutes' break to go clean the kitchen. ;-)
