Summary: AWESOME!!! 2008-11-11
Comment: RipStik ~~ What a great idea! My kids love their RipStiks!!! They learned to ride in about 15 minutes. We put on our helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, etc., but there were no falls! They were riding wonderfully in day or two. An EXCELLENT form of exercise!!!!!

Summary: From a college student... 2008-11-08
Comment: Speaking as a twenty-one year old college student I can confidently say that the Ripstik is one of the best purchases I have made in the recent past. It makes getting around campus exponentially easier. Sure, lots of people ride skateboards/long boards around here, but with the Ripstick one can propel oneself UPHILL. This makes it a breeze to get to classes/lunch/meetings/whatever (and invokes some serious jealousy from the 'pure boarders' out there. And yes, it's very fun to ride. The first day I got it I spent well over five hours riding around the neighborhood and campus (this with ABSOLUTELY NO SKATEBOARDING EXPERIENCE!). This is a heck of a lot easier than it looks, I promise. Have fun! :)

Summary: Young at heart 2008-10-19
Comment: I brought the ripstick today 11/19/08 and I must say that this thing is great. I'm 42 and love the outdoors like biking kayaking etc... When I first saw this thing I said you got to be kidding me how do you ride this thing. I was looking for something to exersice with around the house besides my trailbike. I looked and looked at different types of equipment I even got a stationary bike but it is just not what I wanted. I was going to get the Trikke but the cost is too much and very hard to ride. Then I looked at the Ripstick again and said, "hmmm I wonder if I could really ride this thing". I looked up how to ride it on youtube and said MY GOSH this thing is easy to ride. I got up early this morning and let me tell you it is a blast to ride I think it is easier than a skateboard. For you old school just remember the song The Twist and you will be riding in no time. Even though it says on the warning that the max weight is 220lbs, let's just say that I got a extra 35lbs that I need to loose lol but it handles great. I even taught my son and he wants one now. Heck I might even make a video on how to ride it for beginners. Well I say if you thought about it, get it you will like it maybe even love it once you get the hang of it.
