Summary: Starter Train Toys 2008-08-25
Comment: This is a fun train for the under 7 crowd, boys and girls. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves setting this up and tearing it down.
The heavy duty snap tracks are durable and easily assembled by young hands. The Engine is powered by a single AA battery, meaning no electric wires or plugs or polishing the track! The only tool needed is a phillips head screwdriver to insert the battery.
We bought 2 different Thomas Train sets, both use the same tracks and same styled engines, so they are interchangeable and are readily lengthened.
This is a fun, quickly assembled project, that is inexpensive and entertaining to young children.
