Summary: Good Hidden Object Game, Too Bad It's A Hidden Object Game 2008-11-13
Comment: As far as hidden object games go, this one is pretty good; however, I was disappointed that The Adventure Company chose to use this format for its 4th release. Be advised that you can find this exact game on many websites to download, such as [...] or Yahoo, and that it has been out for several months on the internet so don't buy a second copy of it.
Another disadvantage of the hidden object format is that it's really easy to ignore the story (although the "solution" to DOTN is fairly well known) so there isn't much motivation to interview the characters or complete the bonus rounds.
If you haven't tried any other Agatha Christie games, I would recommend "Evil Under the Sun" instead, where you actually are trying to solve the mystery and act as Hercule Poirot himself.

Summary: Fux and relaxing 2008-10-24
Comment: I've played this about 6 times now but I do skip the puzzle area between the find the object levels. I find it very relaxing just looking at a pretty picture and finding objects. Nice change from being on edge and stressed playing other types of games.

Summary: Previously purchased this game as a download on Yahoo Games 2008-10-20
Comment: This was a fun game to play when I purchased it and downloaded it from Yahoo Games. I thought the name sounded familiar but I thought it was similiar to the previous Agatha Christie games such as "And Then There Were None", "Evil Under The Sun" and "Murder on the Orient Express." If you like looking for hidden objects and solving other neat puzzles, then you will enjoy this game. I will give this copy to my neighbor to enjoy.

Summary: should have read the description 2008-10-17
Comment: I purchased the previous Agatha Christie games: And Then There Were None, Murder On The Orient Express, and Evil Under The Sun and enjoyed all three adventure games. I thought that Death On The Nile was a lower-priced similar game in the series. It's not! I played this hidden object game before as a download. The cover makes it look deceptively like the other role-playing games. I've bought over a thousand items on Amazon.com and this is the first time I've felt ripped off.

Summary: A good seek & find game 2008-10-17
Comment: First, a caveat. This is a hidden object game -- that is, game play consists of searching through various scenes to find a list of objects hidden in the landscape, while the story of "Death on the Nile" plays out in the background. It is NOT an adventure game in which you interview suspects, collect evidence, and solve puzzles, like the other Agatha Christie games that have been published recently.
That being said, it does what it does quite well. The scenes are well designed and game play is challenging without being impossible. It's actually quite amusing -- as long as you weren't expecting an adventure game, that is.
