Product Description
Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses is the story of Barbie as Genevieve, 1 of 12 sisters who live happily with their father the king. Concerned that the high-spirited, independent princesses need more structure to become proper princesses, the king invites his cousin, the Dutchess Rowena to move into the castle. Rather than help, Rowina forbids the sisters from singing and dancing and squelches their individuality. The princesses discover a magical enchanted world and escape the tyranny of Rowena. But when Genevieve learns that their father's life is in danger, the sisters must unite to save the king and their kingdom.

Summary: Decent game... 2007-10-02
Comment: My daughter is three and I bought this game because she loved the movie so much. She has a DS Lite and owns Kirby (she loves it) and Yoshi's Island (she loves it). She likes this game simply becaus it's Barbie. She plays the other games more. It's probably good for a 5 to 6 yr old girl who has experience with video games and loves the Barbie character.

Summary: Great for Younger Girls 2007-08-15
Comment: This game was a gift for my 10 y/o dd's birthday. She likes it okay but her younger 5 y/o sister is who plays it every day. It is her favorite of all her sister's games. Luckily she is getting her own DS Lite for her birthday.

Summary: Really fun game to play, even after you've "beat it" the first time! 2007-01-14
Comment: We got this as our daughter's (age 7) first Nintendo DS game, and the whole family has had fun with it! It took us a while to figure out the various tricks to get through the levels (we're not big gamers), but the initial challenge was fun for all three of us and now that we "get it", it's still a fun to play through over and over!

Summary: Lots of Fun 2007-01-09
Comment: My 5 yr old daughter received this game with the Nintendo DS gaming system for Christmas. She loves the graphics and that the game follows along with the story. She does have difficulty manuevering around in certain parts of the game and can't read any of the dialog throughout the game. It has been lots of fun trying to find Genevieve's sisters and finally defeating Rowena with help from me. Girls ages 5-9 may find this game enjoyable. Older girls may not have interest in Barbies much but the game is challenging enough for them.
