Summary: GREAT PASTTIME 2008-08-14
Comment: This is still by far my favorite game. I played this game for almost 5 years. I now play World of Warcraft, but I find myself many times missing EQ. I found many good people to hang out with playing this game, one is now my very best friend. Where else can you find such great entertainment for this price and find a life-long friend in the process?!

Summary: Love this game 2008-07-19
Comment: I use to play this game when the first EQOA was in beta, then I played up to when this was in beta. After Frontiers beta was over I stopped playing but I want to say how great this game was.
Gameplay: It is a great MMORPG for first time players and novice to RPGs. It takes some time getting use to the controls but very easy to learn. You will want to grind on low levels until you think you can make it out in the real, huge, world.
Story: The story is sometimes hard to understand but the adventure is fun. The quests sometimes are pointless but yet you want the item and exp.
Graphics: This is a PS2 game that came out in 2003 so don't except insane graphics but, and a HUGE but, the environment is HUGE, I mean it takes time to run from one place to the next. It can get tiresome but that just shows you how big this game actually is. I also like the time change.
Sound: The sound is not bad. Music is cool for when you start to attack but after awhile it does get old. FX is good though and should always be on.
Entertainment: You will enjoy this game even if you know nothing about Everquest. Playing with other players or even alone is fun, but it is defiantly more enjoyable with a party.
Replay: Moderate to high because after all this is an RPG and you want to level.
After playing for a couple days you will enjoy the game more and more. Not only do you get 15 classes to choice from but you also can learn trade skills and you get class mastery points for even more added individuality. This is a great game to pick up even if it is 5 years old.

Summary: LOVE this game!! 2008-07-15
Comment: My husband had played this game for years before he met me. Just recently, he started playing again, and roped me into it. I can't get enough. This is the most addicting game I have ever played. I now have five characters, and am on the game ALL THE TIME. Fortunatly, my hubby and I have two PS (one ps2 one ps3) and two games (one came from a friend) so we get to play together as well. If you don't have a USB keyboard, however, you should really look into getting one - sending messages with a joystick is horrible! Also, go online and download as many maps as possible, so you don't get lost along the way (which is REAL easy to do). And take notes. LOTS of notes . . .

Summary: great game 2007-01-16
Comment: If you like dragons and monsters you would like this game.
This game is however not as advanced as WoW, it is for the ps2 and they are limited, that is why I gave it a rate of 4 stars. I have played it for 4 years strait, and bought it for a friend it is also cheaper yearly than WoW. I would recamend it to anyone, but it is like I said not as advanced as the computer online games, so dont get your hopes up. But I still think it is an awsome game I play it still and this is year 5 for me now. It is addictive so if you dont wanna be a couch potato its not the game for you.

Comment: Alright, I had my sare of addiction towards this game and it was actually awhile ago, but I'll try to explain what I liked about this game.
From the start of this game, you'll most likely notice the very bad graphics that are displayed... or maybe the bad sound.. or maybe the decent number of people online at one time
Well, i think this game was the best game in the world to me at one time, I had a level 27 Warrior Halfling ( Hobbit ). But simply, I stopped playing ebcause I stopped paying the 10$ a month. And after that, a few months leter i went to the computer version, Everquest II. ( see my review for that. )
There are some good things about this game. It is online so you can play with other players, it's overall a fantastically made RPG, ( in my opinion better than FinalFantasy by a long-shot. ) And improvements over the first one for the PS2, there is a new Race. ( The Ogre. ) and new class. ( Alchemist. ) There are also some new areas to explore, with new creatures. The team also updated you're leveling, so instead of the highest level being 50, it is now 60. The final thing that was updated, was a very very slight update in graphics. They are hard to see, but they are there. Anyways, if you do play this game and begin to like it, trust me; your hours will be FLYING by. My summer in 2003 and part of 2004 was gone before i knew it. ( I played the first one too. )
Anyways enjoy yourself with it. This game can be enjoyable to you, or a piece of junk.
