Summary: Pretty, but didn't live up to expectations 2008-09-09
Comment: I bought this product thinking that it was going to be the most awesome NDS case ever considering all of the glowing reviews and high marks. I have to admit that the case itself is attractively true-to-color (compared to its picture), the feel is pleasantly smooth to the touch and the case is light. It adds a little bit of bulk, but not so much that it's annoyingly noticeable. It is made up of two parts, the frontplate which clips onto the top "flap" and the, backplate that clips onto the bottom "flap". The plates do not cover the hinge area of your NDS.
For my set of plates, the top plate fits perfectly, but the bottom plate does not fit. It is too small and the ridges on the backplate that are supposed to clip over the edges of the DS don't quite reach the edge and push into the side of my DS, leaving unsightly marks. Also, the color is not actually a part of the plastic. It is painted onto the plastic plates, so any scratches will cause the clear plastic to show through the paint.
Lastly, Joytron is a Korean company that is new to the US market. Included with your package is a notice that informs you that if you send them the links to 5 reviews you have published online and they deem your reviews (and I quote) "acceptable", they will send you a free product of your choice. This, according to them is to spread the word about their company. Sounds more to me like bribing customers to write wonderful reviews that will get an untapped, unsuspecting pool of customers to buy their products.
It may be that my case was an anomaly and the majority of other cases do not have this problem. However, I don't want another product from them (my review is probably not "acceptable") and I wanted to let people know that they are probably seeing biased reviews.

Summary: Amazing Transformation 2008-07-16
Comment: I just received my new Joytron System Skin in the mail and couldn't wait to open it and install it on my NDS. Installation was a breeze and it transformed my boring white DS into a brand new looking Red DS in about 3 seconds flat. I would recommend this product to anyone who wanted to either protect their unit or simply dress it up. I had a cheaper one and believe me you get what you paid for. I returned it and am extremely pleased with the results of this product. The only downside was deciding what color to get. LOVE IT!!

Summary: Great Looking Case 2008-03-25
Comment: After getting the Joytron system case for my PSP slim, my wife and I liked it so much that she had to have one for her DS Lite. She chose the chrome pink, and the case is beautiful. It comes in two pieces that simply snap over the top and bottom of the ds lite. All of the ports and connections are left unobstructed. The case does not cover any of the hinge area, so with case on, the look is two tone, original ds lite color and the color of what ever system case you choose. My wife loves the chrome look but just keep in mind that it does attract fingerprints, so if that bothers you, you might want to look at there other designs other than the chrome. These cases are a great fit and allow you to customize the DS Lite very easily.

Summary: Stongly Recommended!! 2008-02-05
Comment: In a word, AWESOME!! Absolutely brilliant, I fancy this case so much. I love the color PINK, which is why I bought a PINK Nintendo DS Lite. But omg, this CHROME PINK is so pretty, and my DS looks so classy with it. I swear it's better than the pictures or the product descriptions. And it's like a mirror so I get to check out myself lol j.k. Anyway, I'll do the whole pros and cons thing.
PROS! First of all, it's pretty! The pictures speak for themselves, the item comes as described. And it's very slim so it doesn't add any bulk to my DS. Packaged very well, shipped very fast, protects the DS from dirt and scratches and yada yada yada...personally best part is that I'm the only one with it!
Cons...I can't really think of anything bad about my baby. I just need to get a soft pouch for it.
If anything, you should go to their website, there's so many brilliant pictures. Cheers Nuri Tech and Joytron!
