Summary: Pure fun 2008-11-18
Comment: I'm not the best in racing games but they are still a thrill when I'm in the mood for some fun. This one have lots of features and you actually have to learn the tricks in order to make the time, but overall it's a gorgeous game, the scenery is amazing, like being in a movie, I just wish it was more than one player, I often have to take turns playing it with my bf, I tend to give them the harder races but we have a blast playing this.
Out of the few racing games I have this is my new favorite, I haven't even played anything else since we got it.

Summary: The veiws of an 11 year old boy 2008-11-18
Comment: I put my 11-year-old son in charge of playing, exploring and testing this game. He was actually thrilled to do this as he's been asking for the game because it's popular conversation at school.
He thought that the game was fun. It kept his attention. He liked that the game gets progressively harder as the user plays. He also liked that he could put together his own vehicle.
I asked him how the game was when he let his 4-year old sibling play with him. The game is rated "E" so I wanted to get more information about how playable it really is for younger children. He said that it seemed enjoyable to his brother. However, younger children will have difficulty putting together their vehicles without assistance from others. It will also be hard for some younger children to advance throughout the game. However, since those aren't areas that my preschooler cared about, he was happy just driving around in the game.
The game has been given 5-stars by my son. This is based not only on how much he liked it but on whether or not he'd spend his own money on purchasing it.

Summary: Great graphics, but sometimes frustrating gameplay 2008-11-16
Comment: This game definitely wins in the graphics department, but if you're looking for SSX type gameplay (except with an ATV) you're going to be disappointed. Before you can even begin to deal in the real races, you have to be able to pass 5 "simple" tests. The first four are no problem, but then you have to run a lap in under 30 seconds, and the only way to do so is to pull off tricks. Rather than a simple "X" or "O" button mashing system, you have to use the stick to pop your ATV into a trick at the right time and then push a button in air to execute a trick. It takes a while to get used to this, but it can be done.
There are a lot of fun things about this game. You can customize you ATV from the ground up in color and such, but you have to win races to get money to do so.
A casual gamer will probably not find this game very fun, but if you are willing to invest the time and get into it, you'll enjoy this experience. As I said before, the graphics are amazing, and you really can feel like you're riding the off-road trails.

Summary: If it was multi-player, it'd be even more awesome! 2008-11-15
Comment: I'm not a serious gamer, but I do really love racing games of any kind, so I was thrilled to get this. I'd never tried an ATV one before, just cars, skiing, jet skis, planes, motorcycles -- pretty much every other form of transportation racing. Most games I usually play with my boyfriend though, and I was really disappointed that this was a single player game, or you can play online, but I find that's a feature more serious players are into, as they get to know people online to play with and become much more competitive about it then I ever would.
The graphics are awesome, sometimes I totally crash just because I'm paying way to much attention to the vistas around me. It's awesome on a big screen and really feels like you're there! My favorite is the freestyle mode and it helped me learn and pickup new tricks. All in all, a very fun game that only requires a few tweaks(multi-player, didn't love the music in it either) I'd definitely buy this for anyone who likes video games from the most casual gamer to one who really devotes a lot of time to playing.
