Thrash the most formidable sports cars through closely-fought races on the world's most prestigious circuits with Race Driver: Create & Race, now on the Nintendo DS! Players can put their driving skills to the ultimate test - theirs! A full track construction kit lets players design, build and race their very own circuits. Using the stylus, the game's track editor lets players select and place race track elements, such as hairpin corners, long straights and chicanes, to design unique circuits. Once all the pieces are placed to perfection, players can take to their track and experience exactly what it's like in aggressive multiple car races. In addition to the track editor, the game features 32 real-world circuits - from Silverstone and the Nrburgring to Bathurst - and 25 officially licensed race cars, including the Koenig GT, the AMG Mercedes C Klasse DTM, and the Chevrolet Silverado Truck. Making use of the DS's Wi-Fi capabilities, players can challenge others to races on the game's official tracks as well as the circuits of their creation. Race Driver: Create & Race also enables up to four players to go head-to-head in races gamesharing from only one cartridge. Further championships and cars can be unlocked from the World Tour Mode and then raced in realtime online and ad hoc multiplayer modes. ESRB Rated E for Everyone

Summary: Race Driver Create & Race: Review 2008-05-24
Comment: Fun, interesting racing game. Bad part for me: I can't yet get past first race and unlock other ones. The DS controls make it difficult to maneuver precisely and make the best time. But, if you're patient, the game will be fun and challenging w/out causing virtual road rage. Plus, it's neat that you can design your own tracks. You can even view yourself/others from different angles while driving, depending on which works best for you.

Summary: Really fun game 2008-01-19
Comment: I like this game a lot. I have played a lot of racing games on the DS (Need for Speed: Pro Street and Carbon, Asphalt Urban GT 1 and 2, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong) and this is one of the best. The cars handle well, the graphics and engine noise are good, and the races are fun and a bit challenging. Compared to Need For Speed: Pro Street, which I also just got, I like this game is better. Definitely a good buy at only $20. I am very glad I bought it.

Summary: Great racer for the DS! 2007-12-25
Comment: This is my first racing game for the DS and it is really good. The graphics are probably as good as it can get on the DS. The game play takes a little getting used to but after the learning curve, it is definitely fun. A really cool feature in this title is creating your own tracks. Go get this racing title for the DS!
